     My Third Quarter Reflection

    A) What are the things I learned in the second quarter? In quarter 3, I learned about HTML Frames and how to create a research plan for Choco Surf Point's biological life (Flora and Fauna). This quarter is a lot of fun because practically everything we do is by group, so I can lend a hand and have someone to talk with.

    B) What are the challenges that I encountered? The difficulties I had in quarter 3 are as follows: first, codings are more complex; second, as the head of our group, I am under a lot of pressure; and finally, I am having problems understanding codings and their purpose.

    C) How did this address these challenges? this drafts makes my problem kind of lighter as I can express my feelings through words and my problems in anyway I want. 

    D)Moving On, I will always carry this knowledge I learned, this experiences that I experienced will always be remembered, and always thankful for all the things I have.

Seeking God's Way (Lenten Season)

 Lent is a 40-day season preceding Easter in the Christian calendar. Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday, is a week of reflection and preparation before the Easter celebrations. Christians emulate Jesus Christ's 40-day desert fast by observing Lent.

It is a period of preparation for the celebration of the Lord's Resurrection at Easter. During Lent, we seek the Lord in prayer by reading Sacred Scripture; we serve by giving alms; and we practice self-control by fasting.

Fasting as a religious devotion to my own body was something I practiced during the Lenten season. I also volunteer at our chapel and church to hear God's words

and to reflect on the horrible things I've done in my life in order to become a much better version of myself. During the Lenten season, I watched religious films such as The Ten Commandments, Moises, and movies that teach moral lessons. 

We go to the Caoayan Choco Surf Point with my pals to have some fun and enjoy the gorgeous sunset. It was fun to hang out with them because I enjoy spending time with them because of their vibes and the things they do. It was a lot of joy to be with them, especially during the Lenten season, so I can encourage them to reflect on the terrible things that they do.

As part of the Palm Sunday celebration, my family and I attend to church to hear God's teachings and reflect on the terrible things we do. This is a good exercise to undertake so that we can have fun as the god's presence guides us. 

The Lenten season is a time to reflect on the dreadful things we do during our lives in order to change and follow the correct path, which is God's path. As God sent his son to die for our sins, we should all pause and reflect. We must consider our actions in order to avoid committing a sin in our lives.

So much fun in the 121st ISNHS Day

 

Ilocos Sur National High School Day is among the students look forward to the most at any school , there is a lot of frantic activity and excitement. High school day or Foundation Day is a celebration of a school when the school was founded or established. Ilocos Sur Natonal High School was established/founded on March 25, 1902 and this year it will celebrate it's 121st year.

The event consist of three parts. The first part is the Thanksgiving Mass that began at 8:00 am at the gymnasium to show our respect to god and to blessed us so we can be protected and have the guidance of the lord on the event that we did and we offer in advance thanks to the lord that we are aware and apprreciate his guidance and faithfulness toward us. 

The 2nd part is the program. The program start with the Teacher's Choir for the Doxology, Pambansang Awit, Region 1 Hymn, Ilocos Sur Hymn, Vigan City Hymn and ISNHS Hymn. Then Ma'am Editha Bagcal welcome us with her beautiful aura and Miss Gemma Tacuycuy give her message before the selected Grade 10 students perform their intermission  number which we enjoy. Miss Chairmaine T. Antiporda give her intoduction speech for the guest speaker and Dr. Vida Margarette Andal - Bueno give an inspirational talk which touch our heart beacause of the meaning of the speech she deliver. After the inspirational talk the teacher's choir perform an intermission number to hype the crowd. The words of gratitude by Mr. Rommel R. Rabo and for the last part of the part 2 is the closing song "Walang hanggang Pasasalamat".

Part 3 The Field Demo is the best part of the high scchool day. We start a prayer by Mr. Joseph Q. Obero and a welcome address by Mr. Reynario T. Viloria before the field demonstration start.

The Field demonstration start with a calisthenics, Choosen students and teacher's dance galaw pilipinas to entertain the guess. Festival dance is the second performance in the field demostration, the festival dance showcase different festival in Philippines the performers of festival dance are the winner of the grade 9 festival dance ISNHS . After that the winner of the grade 10 hip-hop dance perform their modern dance to entertain us. Part 3 also contain traditional games where the teachers compete for some prizes. Ssg also open a booth which is so enjoyable because of the friendly vibes of the people there and for the last part Miss Judeliza M. Refuerzo show us the word of gratitude to the people who come, enjoy and support the High School Day.

The High School Day is so fun and I am looking forward for the next year High School day and I am ready to participate again for the activities they will  conduct. I am grateful also because I learn a lot about our school and know a lot of people during the activity. So I hope next year we'll be more awesome.
